ScriptStormers – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using ScriptStormers ("the Platform," "we," "our," or "us"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these rules, you must immediately stop using the Platform.

2. Account Creation and Trial Period

  • Access: Users may create an account securely via Google Sign-In. No credit card is required to access our Free Tier.
  • Token Allocation: New accounts receive a one-time allocation of 3,000 tokens, permitting up to 12 free script creations (3 distinct variations per prompt, up to 8 minutes long).
  • Abuse Protection: Creating multiple Google accounts to exploit or bypass the Free Tier token limit is strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.

3. Subscription and Billing Clause

By subscribing to a paid tier on ScriptStormers, you explicitly authorize ScriptStormers to charge your payment method on file via our third-party processor (Stripe) according to the terms of your selected plan until you cancel.

  • Pro Plan: Priced at $15.00 per month. Unlocks unlimited AI script generations, Mobile Teleprompter Mode, Front-to-Back POV camera switching, and Canvas Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Video Presentation Mode.
  • Group Plan: Priced at $35.00 per month (or $336.00 billed annually). Built for agencies and teams, providing multi-user seats and shared collaborative project folders.
  • Automatic Renewal: All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) using the payment details provided at the time of purchase.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Management: Subscribers can update billing methods, download invoices, or cancel their subscription at any time by clicking the "Manage Subscription" button in their Profile Menu, which securely redirects to the Stripe Customer Portal.
  • No Penalties: Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You will retain premium access until your paid period expires. We do not offer partial or prorated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations.

5. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

  • Our Property: ScriptStormers owns all rights, titles, and interests in the website code, user interface designs, logo, branding, and proprietary assets. You may not copy, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of our platform.
  • Your Property: You retain 100% ownership, copyright, and commercial rights over all text scripts generated by our AI and all videos recorded using our studio tools.

6. User Conduct & Restricted Activities

You agree not to use the Platform to engage in any of the following restricted activities:

  • Attempting to hack, disrupt, disable, or impair the security or performance of our servers.
  • Using automated bots, scripts, or scrapers to extract data or bulk-generate content from our platform.
  • Using our AI generator to deliberately create defamatory, illegal, harassing, or deeply offensive script text.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right, without notice or liability, to terminate, suspend, or delete your account and block your access to ScriptStormers if you violate these terms, fail to clear subscription dues, or exploit the platform database.

8. Data Storage & Privacy Disclaimer

  • Local Device Storage: For optimization and privacy, all video recordings made via the Mobile Teleprompter or PiP Canvas Mode are rendered locally on your device and saved directly to your device's Files/Downloads folder. ScriptStormers does not host, view, or store your raw video footage on our servers.

9. Limitation of Liability & "As-Is" Clause

  • Provided "As-Is": ScriptStormers is provided to you on an "As-Is" basis. We make no guarantees that the platform will be 100% bug-free or uninterrupted.
  • Damages Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScriptStormers shall not be liable for any indirect or financial damages resulting from your use of the site. Our total liability to you shall never exceed the total amount of money you paid to us in the past 12 months.
